ROD MITTON

Managing Director

Rod has over 20 years experience in the construction industry within operational and management issues in the delivery of significant projects. He has a background in carpentry trade works which provides a critical understanding of applied construction techniques.

Rod's particular strength and attribute is his ability to communicate with clients, which, in his position in Manteena, has led him into the role of Client Liaison Manager with several of the company's key clients including the National Gallery of Australia, Old Parliament House and the National Capital Authority. Rod's ability to work with these clients on high profile projects within the parliamentary triangle and lead the Company's team of administrative and supervisory staff as well as trade contractors has been extremely successful.

Lou Agnello

Director

Lou has more than 38 years experience in the construction industry within trade, operational and management issues in the delivery of significant projects. As a director of Strine Building Pty Ltd, Lou carries out executive management duties on a daily basis and also provides construction management support to both project managers and foremen. He continues to be actively involved in the day-to-day construction management and on-site leadership of selected projects.

JAY GIBBONS

Senior Site Supervisor

Jay has been involved as the senior site supervisor for the operations of Strine Building since it was established in 2007. His role involves the coordination of trades and materials, and ensuring that the integrity of the architecturally designed houses is maintained.

He has been involved in all the houses built by the Strine Environments group. This includes jobs in both Canberra and rural NSW, the latter involving larger homes not connected to the electricity grid and which operate on stand alone Photo-voltaic power supply systems.

Prior to joining Strine Building, Jay was a site supervisor for Manteena, and was assigned to a number projects in and around the ACT and surrounding regions. His performance and responsibility as a foreman was highly valued by the Company.

CHRIS PIECHOCKI

Estimator

Chris has been involved as the estimator for Strine Building since its establishment in 2007. He has helped to create the corporate systems and procedures to carry out the pricing and construction of these high quality, environmentally sustainable homes.

Prior to joining Strine Building, Chris was a Project Administrator and Assistant Estimator for Manteena, where his responsibilities covered the following functions:

  • preparation and review of cost plan information;
  • preparation of client invoices, processing of supplier invoices, when required and preparation of payment vouchers for contractors (& sub-contractors);
  • general contract administration duties, including attendance at site meetings with clients and/or contractors and procurement and correspondence with suppliers.

BEN FOGARTY

Project Administrator

Ben commenced with Strine Building in January 2008. He has been working with Manteena since July 2005 as a Project Administrator. In that time he has successfully undertaken the administration of a number of projects with a high degree of competency.

Ben has the responsibility and authority for the following functions:

  • coordination of and tracking all documentation between client, project manager (builder) and contractor (sub-contractor);
  • management and maintenance of project filing system;
  • management of project correspondence and project records;
  • prepare payment vouchers for contractor (sub-contract) and process supplier invoices;
  • attendance at site meetings and site visits.
  • preparation and implementation of all project correspondence.
  • general contract administration duties, which include attendance at site meetings with clients and/or contractors and procurement and correspondence with suppliers.
  • architectural and services plans management.

JANE SKEA

Office Administrator

Skills include:
